Jean-Drapeau Park Lighting Plan

Development of a comprehensive urban lighting intervention plan for one of Montreal’s largest and most iconic parks.
The lighting plan for Parc Jean-Drapeau aims to structure a coherent and sustainable vision for lighting across the entire site. The objective is to improve visitor experience, nighttime safety, and the enhancement of the built and natural landscape, while respecting the historical character of each sector of the park. The approach is based on a thorough analysis of existing infrastructure, lighting atmospheres, and environmental considerations to guide future interventions over time.

Inventory of nearly 1,000 existing luminaires, qualitative and energy analysis, zoning of the territory, analytical sheets by sector, conceptual and technical recommendations, reduction of light pollution.
