Illumination of the Facade, City Entrance
Located near the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, the church of Notre-Dame-de-Guadalupe is at a major city entrance of Montreal. The site is composed of the church and the park, intends to absorb an important visual and sound impacts of the 6-lane bridge. At night the warm tone illumination of the church facade welcomes and contrasts with its cold toned lighting that accents the bronze statue of the Virgin and the cross.
